A visual art that I’ve been attracted to for a long time, but only recently have I been able to immerse myself in its depths. I love photography in its pure state. I always aim to do everything at the moment I take a photograph, so as to reduce the necessary postprocessing to a bare minimum. To this end, I use, e.g. polarizing, neutral density and graduated neutral density filters for my landscapes. My favourite genres are waterscapes and macro, but beside these, I shoot various other subjects that I find beautiful or interesting.

Another passion of mine, that started very innocently, while I was taking courses for my “A” category driving license. Since then, this is the only type of vehicle I’ve owned. The motorcycle should, most importantly, look good. It should express the taste, or sometimes, lack thereof, of its owner. Other qualities that I have, over time, learned to appreciate, are reliability and suitability for repair. After all, I tend to drive for longer distances outside of city limits.

I like to travel, especially with a motorcycle. This way, you can become one with nature and feel the journey in a very different way, whether it’s the freshness of a spring shower or the coolness of a forest’s shadow in the summer. Furthermore, sometimes the journey itself is more important and interesting than the destination.
